Rev. (Engr.) Augustine Kaonyegwachie Nwaulune Ph.D., FNSE, FIMC, Fsca, MNIM, MNIICTE, is maiden and current Chairman of the Nigerian Institute of ICT Engineers (NIICTE) and the Director, Digital Economy, of Nigerian Communications Commission, the Communications Industry Regulator.

He holds: Ph.D. in Engineering Management; Doctor of Engineering (D.Eng.) in Telecommunications Engineering; Master’s in Business Administration (MBA); Masters of Science (M.Sc.) in Engineering Management; Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, majoring in Communications Engineering Technology.

He is qualified Engineer, registered with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria. A Fellow, of the following bodies: Nigerian Society of Engineers; Institute of Management Consultants, West African Society for Communications and Administration, Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria, and Member, Nigerian Institute of Management, Nigerian Institute of ICT Engineers.

He has about 30 years of professional experience in the telecommunications industry, spanning: Technical; Managerial; Leadership, and Regulatory. He is an International speaker on Technology; Regulation and Policies. Has represented his current employer and presented Keynotes Paper in many International function: Conferences; Seminars and Workshops.

He has been involved in various national telecommunications industry Committees and Working groups both in membership and chairmanship levels. He chaired the NCC Spectrum Auction Committees with several successful auctions to its credit. Chaired the Nigeria at ITU Telecom World Local Organizing Committee for four year back to back from 2016. Chaired the National Frequency Management Council Finance Committee, Co-Chaired the 2.6GHz Re-farming Committee, Chaired the NCC Spectrum Pricing Committee, is a member of Broadband Implementation Steering Committee etc

He actively participates in the work of the International Telecommunications Union, He is currently a Vice Chairman of Radiocommunications Advisory Group (RAG),

He is well trained. Has over the years acquired several Credit Units of training in engineering, technology, policy, management and administration from national and international accredited training providers too numerous to mention.

He is a servant of God, the President of “A Great New Pentecost Assembly” (AGNPA), a commission on a Mission to dethrone Religion and enthrone Godliness with Vision of unifying Denominations and Faiths for the peace of Mankind. Married to Engr. Evang. (Mrs.) Freda Isioma Nwaulune, a marriage blessed with 5 Children: Fortune; Favour; Treasure; Praise and David.
