Mona Zoet, founder and CEO of RegPac Revolution, has over 20 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry within the Legal, Risk, and Compliance areas of top-tier Financial Institutions around the globe.
During this time, she became acutely aware of the Regulatory, Operational, and Risk Management pain points faced by banks and other Financial Institutions alike and understood these wouldn’t be solved easily or at all within.
Because of these experiences, she decided to take a big jump and become an entrepreneur. She started RegPac Revolution to build the Ecosystem, educate and advise about Regulatory Technology (RegTech) and help startups scale and expand into SEA at a time when no one else could do this.
To date, Mona is a well-known professional in the RegTech space, having founded the Asia RegTech Global Summit to connect the dots and build RegTech communities globally. Additionally, Mona is a frequent guest speaker at a number of conferences both in Asia and globally. She is the RegTech Sub-Committee Member of Singapore FinTech Association Asia, which exists to ease and accelerate the evolution of the RegTech industry, as well as a mentor for various entrepreneurial (Tech) projects and a non-executive board member for a couple of companies within the GRC space.
Lastly, Mona has contributed to a number of publications in the RegTech space: “The Legal Aspects of Blockchain,” a book published by the UNOPS focusing on the legal implications that blockchain has, not only in humanitarian and development work but also on existing regulatory frameworks, data, and identity. Additionally, Mona also shares co-authorship for the books #RegTech Blackbook and #RegTech Blackbook The Sequel, which highlights all the latest developments in RegTech, FinTech, and WealthTech from different angles.
Lastly, Mona has also been mentioned as one of the RegTech top 100 influencers, a report created by Analytica One
