Monsurat is a Chartered Accountant, Banker and Strategist with a distinguished career spanning over two decades at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). Her experience covers Internal Control & Compliance, Finance, Banking Supervision, Strategy Formulation & Execution and Enterprise Innovation. A dynamic leader known for analytical depth, strategic thinking, and exceptional execution capability, she has made significant contributions to strengthening Nigeria’s financial system and institutional governance.

Her career at the CBN features major footprints in supervision and financial sector reforms. She played pivotal roles in landmark initiatives such as the Banking sector consolidation, Special examination of Deposit Money Banks, and the development of the current Banks and Other Financial Institutions Act (BOFIA) 2020. She also served as Group Head of the Finance Companies Supervisory Group, strengthening regulatory oversight and compliance within the subsector.

Mrs. Vincent is currently the Director of the Strategy and Innovation Management Department at the CBN where she leads the Bank’s strategy development efforts, oversees enterprise performance management, and drives innovation across the organization.

In her current role, she has strengthened strategic governance structures by coordinating executive-level strategic review sessions and enhancing frameworks that improve corporate performance and accountability.

She has established a formal innovation process and governance mechanisms in the Bank, including a structured idea pipeline termed the ‘’Digital Spark Hub’’, which supports innovation cycles and evaluation systems designed to encourage creativity in the CBN.

Before joining the CBN, her professional experience included roles at UBA and in the telecommunications industry, giving her broad operational and corporate exposure.

Monsurat is an Accounting graduate and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Lagos. She is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) and an Associate of Toronto Centre
