Uche Chigbo is a strategic leader and a seasoned professional with 25+ years experience driving transformation across the public and private sectors. Her expertise spans Information Technology, Identity Management, Policy Advisory & Formulation , Strategy and Public Administration.

Uche is at the fore front of Nigeria’s digital identity revolution and currently serving as Director- Operations at the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) where she is driving innovation to redefine citizen centric service delivery and setting new benchmarks for operational excellence in the national identity sector.

Her strong academic foundation includes a B.Sc in Computer science & Statistics from the university of Nigeria Nsukka; and an MBA from the Business School Netherlands. A proponent for continuous learning, she is also an alumni of the prestigious Lagos Business school and has attended numerous conferences, workshops and seminars reflecting a deep commitment to professional excellence in the identity and tech ecosystem.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Uche is an avid reader and a lover of arts who enjoys singing, dancing and exploring the world through documentaries and travels. She is deeply devoted to her Christian faith, family and is a proud mother of four children and grandmother of 2 grandsons.
