Mubanga Kondolo Jr.
Mubanga Kondolo Jr. is Manager for Financial Inclusion at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Zambia. He has worked in the financial sector for nine years, five of which he has spent at the Commission being the focal point for matters relating to financial inclusion. Mubanga’s work primarily entails coordinating the implementation of capital markets related objectives under Zambia’s National Financial Inclusion Strategy and co-championing key projects at the Commission such as the Capital Markets Master Plan and the Sandbox Project.
Before joining SEC, Mubanga served as Project Officer at the Bank of Zambia under a partnership project on financial education with the German Savings Banks Foundation for International Corporation (SBFIC), where he supported the implementation of the first National Strategy on Financial Education for Zambia. Mubanga also serves as a member of the national working group for the second phase of the Strategy scheduled to run until 2024.
Mubanga holds a BA (Hons) in Business and Management from the University of Sunderland and various certifications i.e from the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance, the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments, the Toronto Centre of Canada and the Zambia College of Pensions and Insurance Trust.
