Nneka is a lawyer, a Certified Anti- Money Laundering Specialist, a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Fellow of the Compliance Institute, Nigeria with several years of experience in the field across core banking, international money transfer as well as the Fintech space. Her experiences range from developing and implementing compliance and Anti-Fraud programs, to monitoring and ensuring the effectiveness of the programs.  She has compliance oversight experience across several countries in Africa while working as a Regional Compliance officer with Moneygram International where she was part of the team that implemented a world class compliance program across Africa.

Nneka began her career as a compliance officer in UBA Plc before proceeding to Diamond Bank Plc (now Access Bank Plc) as Team lead, Compliance Support and Union Bank Plc as Team Lead, Regulatory Compliance respectively. She left Moneygram International for Interswitch where she is currently the Chief Compliance Officer.

Nneka is a passionate compliance officer and as the Chairman of the Education sub- committee of the Compliance Institute, Nigeria, she has been involved in developing and implementing the certification program for new and existing compliance officers in country. This has enabled the standardization of best practice requirements for the compliance profession in Nigeria. She has also been instrumental in assisting several Financial Institutions within the continent, in setting up an effective compliance risk management programs within their organizations.
