Tunji has extensive professional experience in delivering technology-enabled business transformation solutions for large financial service providers, financial system regulators, and fintech startups across Africa.

Before joining EMTECH, he was a leader in KPMG’s Emerging Technology & Digital Transformation Consulting business, working across Africa as part of KPMG project teams. He also led KPMG Nigeria FinTech practice towards the end of an 11-year career in the firm. He is currently an Executive Director at EMTECH, overseeing the continuous pursuit of growth opportunities for the company across Africa.

Tunji has extensive knowledge capital and hands-on experiences in emerging technologies like AI, Blockchain, Robotics, and IoT. He has led several client projects across several African countries involving the use and deployment of such technologies across various industries, including financial services, telecommunications, and consumer markets; such projects include strategy development, digital transformation, systems selection, delivery of open and cloud-based digital platforms, and complex enterprise systems.

Tunji’s thought leadership includes speaking engagements on Digital Transformation, AI, Blockchain, Data & Analytics, Open Banking, Regulatory Sandboxing, CBDCs, Emerging Technology Risks, Regulatory and Supervisory Technology Innovation, and FinTech Innovation.
